Soon after acquiring the Grooveline G104 I've been wanting for long. the G105 showed up over internet and I was lucky enough the snap it .. without hestitation... so alone with the 30th Anniversary Stingray , there's really nothing else I can possibly think of of getting ...
All the specs and thoughts are identical as the G104 .. I'm not a fan of the stock pickup and preamp . they are professional, but more on the modern / efficient end and I prefer things on the traditional sounding side . Swapped the pickup with Duncay Apollo Jazz V , and Aguilar OBP-3 and getting that more growly, more mid rich sound and OBP3 allows a wide range of tone shaping.
