panel linning before masking makes the lines easier to see, tamiya dark grey panel liner is being used here .  

starting this season with an old kit that's been sitting in the drawer for years...   it's the 1/72 Engage Octaver SR1 by Silicon Tribe .  

It's a slightly larger one in 1/72 scale, has unique style to its proportion and the details are remarkable.    very differently than the sleek look from Volks and the somehow bulky look from WSC 

here's comes some updates with the Wave/Takara 1/24 Scopedog Turbo Custom.  needs a little more efforts when compare to the modern stuffs.  I can safely say most of us had been spoiled by bandai in the past 20 years.   this one totally reminds me of what old school model building is and I totally dig it.  

starting anyther new/old build ..    going back to the 80s anime armed trooper with this 1/24 Scoopdog Turbo Custom by Takara(later got bought out by wave).  an old school classic. 

Here comes my 2nd pandemic plastic model build .. 

A little wip during the pandemic .   I was able to clean up my garage and have part of the spray gears setup half permantely that I can easyly hop in/out with minimum setup/cleaup efforts needed for airbrush works.

Little progress on this build .   since time is very very limited, I've decide to go with spray can for this build instead of air brush .. 

Happy 2018, and finally get to decide to start something new for this year, and have chosen this 15years old kit as my annual project.   

A little snap build from few month ago ..  and MAN...     these new 1/44 HUGC gunpla has became my new favourite!

More wip for long weekend here in Canada.  Had been fitting parts back together, doing panel line and cleaning work at the moment.  Surface wasn't the smooth previously and the spraying environment was a bit dusty.  Polishing compound were being used with qtips to clean up the panel lines. 

Spent 2hrs today to get most of the colours done.  Painting exterior details next. 

Impressed by these new hguc revive kits.  Fairly simple but well engineered. 

total time spent on this snap built was around 1.5hrs include trimming and sanding.

it's probably a good time to move into 1/144 now .
