Playbility / Sound:
This bass is simple yet classy . very open yet organic sounding. It’s highly responsive to the player’s playing, can sound like an upright, or something mid focus punchy aggressive when diggin .. You can learn more about yourself from this bass and explore alot more about different playing techniques. 34” with fretline makes the transition slightly easier ..
Thoughts:
The wood combination is also just stunning, the natural red in Paduk with oil is totally killer and that extended fingerboard/thumb rest portion is tasteful .. only 1 volume knob on the bridge, this bass uses piezo bridge with Fishman electronic with a tone pot in the cavity(accessible with a mini screw driver). Basically jus find the right sound and start the adventure from there. The stock black nylon taperwound string from LaBella also adds the right amount of openness to the overall sound, they just sounded perfect out of the box .
