Here's comes one of the best work that a top builder can possibly offer in the most exotic form.

Here's comes a fancy one; the Fodera Emperor 5 Standard bass.

Fodera has been building high end fancy electric basses (and now guitar) for over 30 years and to me their level of craftsmanship is simply the highest in the industry. And in about 2013-2014, they've incorporated more machineries in their production flow and were able to build more quality basses in a larger quantity, that's the time where these Standard line comes in the market. This Emperor 5 Standard is the first generation that features a fancy Flame Maple top, later on they offered various wood tops and now they've got the painted Classic line, but to me, it's a must to have a figured wood top for such a wood sounding instrument.

Musicman announced Stingray 5 backed in the year of 1987’ and they’ve became the best selling 5 string bass in the market.

Another fun instrument that I got to play with lately.

A Fender Precision Bass from 1983' !

Another recent bass haul ..   sucker like me can just never resist on gold hardwares ..   I had to get it ...

I had the privilege to be involved with this project and played on this track for Sarah oversea.  This project was led by cFu Gabriel Cheung and it was a fun one.

The track is somehow only available on mobile for whatever reason with the sharing platform.

Here come's a short composition written on Feb 24, 2019

Basically noddeling out the whole thing in 45mins and I was lucky enough to sit in front of the workstation to capture it.  Hopefully 2019 will be a more productive year.

BB-N5A from Yamaha, here's a few thoughts about this gem.

Merry Christmas!  this has been a very busy year.   Wish you and your important people can have a safe and happy holiday!
