Fodera had been making the finest solid body instruments in the past several decades, and they’re favoured by many of the finest players of our century and thus inspired the world when their talents get extreme.  Mr. Richard Bona is one of the very great example.

Being one of the NYC pro musicians, they often require a versatile instrument that covers all their musical and work needs yet allows the players to interpreted the voice they had in mind.   And this bass demonstrate this at the best.  The finest craftsmanship in the business along with the Roland GK pickup, only the sky is the limit.

Playability
Classic Fodera playability, fast stable neck, perfect fretworks ..   can go extreme low action buzz free ..  Neck is similar to a modern C , every frets on the fingerdboard are easily reachable and a joy to play .

Sound
It has the 70s Fender jazz combination for the upfront chunky tone , the neckthru construction seemed to tame down the attack slightly.   The EMG pickups are slightly hot and sensitive ..  can be rewarding when you have clean touch.    After all, it also has that up front, well controlled Fodera sound, the on board Pope preamp just nicely make the signal big and open.   4 band eq are efficient, and not to mention the GK pickup opens the door to another universe.

Thoughts
Even Mr. Bona has moved on with other endorsement, even he’s one of those unicorn who can make magic with just a broom ..    this is the tool he blew everyone away with .
